  • March 17, 2015 - Plainview, NY - Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. (Plainview) announced today that Autel US (Huntington) has leased 12,500 square feet of flex space at 175 Central Avenue in Farmingdale, NY. David G. Hunt of Hunt represented the landlord, Anton Cerrone Associates in the lease negotiations. The tenant was represented by Alan Yaffe of United Realty.

    Autel US is the Autel distribution hub for the North American market. Autel US handles the development, manufacture and marketing of diagnostic tools, equipment and accessories in the automotive aftermarket.

    “The 12,500 square foot suite met Autel’s requirement for a larger space with a substantial amount of office space. Our high parking ratio allowed for just that,” said David Hunt.  “The space will be completely configured to their specifications and they plan to move into their new USA headquarters within a few months.” The suite is part of a 50,000 square foot flex building in Farmingdale that is now fully occupied.

  • March 5, 2014 - Plainview, NY - Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. (Plainview) announced today the sale of the church building located at 45 North Service Road in Dix Hills, NY. Chuck Syage of Hunt represented the seller, New Apostolic Church (Woodbury). The buyer, Salem Mar Thoma Church, was self-represented.

    New Apostolic Church consolidated various small churches and built a flagship congregation located at 145 Crossways Park Drive in Woodbury, NY. After two years of planning, construction, and preparations, the newly built church was completed and dedicated in January, 2014.

    “New Apostolic Church was happy to find just-the-right-new-owner for their little church building in Dix Hills.  Small churches like this are a rare find and given the location, just off the Long Island Expressway, and the excellent condition of the building, this was the ideal move for Salem Mar Thoma Church,” said Chuck Syage of Hunt.

    The New Apostolic Church began over 140 years in Chicago, Manhattan, and Buffalo. The first congregations were nurtured both by evangelizing ministers and immigrant members from Europe, and by the local people. On the heels of these first three openings, other congregations were established from the East Coast, through the Great Lakes, and all the way to the West Coast. In the generations to follow, the first congregations have grown and branched out to comprise over 250 locations nationwide.

    Salem Mar Thoma Church, Eastern Long Island, originated in 2003. It started as a small prayer group in Eastern Long Island within Suffolk and Nassau counties of New York. The parish began with forty-eight families and currently has eighty families. The church relocated from 655 Old Country Road in Dix Hills, NY.

  • February 25, 2015  - Plainview, NY - Hunt Corporate Services, Inc. (Plainview) announced today that David G. Hunt, President, was recently installed as a Vice President of Properties and Risk Management for Suffolk County Council, Boy Scouts of America (Medford, NY). Mr. Hunt's responsibilities now include oversight of all the real estate owned by Suffolk County Council, government regulations, ADA compliance, risk management, insurance policies, workplace safety, and capital projects. He will report directly to Council President James Montalto, Scout Executive/CEO Ryan DiBernardo, and Council Commissioner Timothy Green. As a Vice President, Mr. Hunt is a member of the Executive Committee, which directs the Executive Board.

    Mr. Hunt, an Eagle Scout, has been serving as a member of the Executive Board for the last year, and has been a very active Scouting volunteer for many years.  He currently serves on the Matinecock District Advancement Committee, helping to oversee the Eagle Scout service projects from 28 local troops, attending Eagle Scout Boards of Review and Courts of Honor as a District Representative, as well as counseling Scouts at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp. Mr. Hunt is a merit badge counselor for 12 different merit badge subjects, awarding an average 70 merit badges a year to deserving Boy Scouts. He is also an Assistant Scoutmaster and Eagle Coach with Troop 113 in Centerport, NY.

    In 2013, he was presented with the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Citizen Award, by the Suffolk County Council. Mr. Hunt is also the founder and blogger of EagleCoach.org, a website devoted to helping Scouts earn Eagle Scout rank.

    Suffolk County Council, Boy Scouts of America provides a comprehensive values-based program that develops character, teaches citizenship, and encourages personal fitness to more than 10,000 youth each year. The Council was chartered on April 6, 1919 to instill values and expand the Scouting movement in Suffolk County.
